Cultural Landscape
The visible human imprint on the land and the cultural features that define a place
Sequent Occupance
The successive cultures or societies that have left their cultural imprints on a place
Indigenous People
Native or aboriginal people who originally inhabited a place or region and continue to do so

The spread of cultural traits or ideas from one culture to another
Contagious Diffusion
The spread of cultural traits through direct contact between individuals or groups

The spread of cultural traits from a person or node of authority to other persons or places
Stimulus Diffusion
The spread of underlying ideas or concepts even though the main idea itself fails to diffuse
